Faster they’re hauling, the whole world forestalling
I just stare with such am amazement
Seduced by their dreaming but never
proceeding, to submit, to their own statement
We learn to run and hide
Forced to sacrifice
What we believe in
And oh another useless vote
Shoved right down your throat
Kick down what detains you!
Ride across the wind straight to the sun
Don’t look back now,
Worship the path you’re on
Shed the shield of skin
You don’t need it anymore
If you don’t know who you are
What are you living for?
A life in the making to never stop waking
Leading your mind is not a legend
For some it is profound, to chant their own sound
So spill your guts and you can’t fake it
We learn to run and hide
Forced to sacrifice
What we believe in
And oh another useless vote
Shoved right down your throat
Kick down what detains you!
Ride across the wind straight to the sun
Don’t look back now,
Worship the path you’re on
Shed the shield of skin
You don’t need it anymore
If you don’t know who you are
What are you living for?
What are you living for?
Ride across the wind straight to the sun
Don’t look back now,
Worship the path you’re on
Shed the shield of skin
You don’t need it anymore
If you don’t know who you are
What are you living for?

Melodic / Power Metal perfection! Not typical Power Metal - UTA does it their way. Melodic + Power + good 'ol traditional rock/metal. Everything is so catchy and melodic, and it rocks! Brittney's voice does slay -- maybe the perfect metal frontwoman. metaltyger

"old-school death", they said.
while in many ways, that could be said about "echoes of the soul", this album musically has so much more to offer. it is melodic, has some BM elements, and the solos are breathtaking.
i was surprised & delighted & this quickly became one of my favourite albums.
the lyrics' socio-political messages & the spirituality & the depths of feeling & of being human are all things i can really, really connect to. there's a kind of empathy that is often elsewhere absent. frög

I‘m listening to these guys since Rasen. Those haunting melodies are insane. Lyrical masterpieces from the beginning to the end. Atmospheric, melodic death metal. Truly a death metal experience! Sælzer Bub

I loved this bands 1st album. Sadly, for me, this one is quite dull. Flat sounding Death Metal.
Pains me to say this actually. Sophomore Jinx. Need to go buy me another album to get over it. Ha! S.B.Norton
