"old-school death", they said. while in many ways, that could be said about "echoes of the soul", this album musically has so much more to offer. it is melodic, has some BM elements, and the solos are breathtaking. i was surprised & delighted & this quickly became one of my favourite albums. the lyrics' socio-political messages & the spirituality & the depths of feeling & of being human are all things i can really,really connect to. there's a kind of empathy that is often elsewhere absent.

I‘m listening to these guys since Rasen. Those haunting melodies are insane. Lyrical masterpieces from the beginning to the end. Atmospheric, melodic death metal. Truly a death metal experience!

I loved this bands 1st album. Sadly, for me, this one is quite dull. Flat sounding Death Metal. Pains me to say this actually. Sophomore Jinx. Need to go buy me another album to get over it. Ha!
